2 June - Left Holland for Germany. night by Hoya
3 - Walstrode Fallingbostel Soltau
4 - Border to Denmark
5 - Long drive north Fredrickshaven and ferry to Gotenburg
6 - E45 north. stopped by lake, fishing
7 - Lovely day by river eating perch
9 - coffee with Dutch couple shopping in Grums A45 north not very interesting, all trees
10 - to Hoton very good, free hot water and cooking
11 - coffee Dorotea, lunch picnic area by river near Storum (midges). Bothy hut - Sauna hut - BBQ area. Free
12 - Weather was so good stayed another day. bitten by midges.
13 - Left 9am E12, 37 miles, free camp place. very good.
14 - stayed another day, mozzys and all
15 - Beauty, scenery, snow to waterfalls, fast rivers but not many stopping places, on to Trofors Norway 125 miles
16 - Shopping Musjoen. good travel centre 78R, narrow roads, tunnels like caves. Hair raising at times on 17. Levang ferry £6 to Wesna. picnic area for night, raining, poor visibility, 70 miles
17 - R17 Stockvagen for coffee, Kilboghamn lunch. Ferry to Jetvick over Polar Circle. Weather perfect. Ferry Askaret to Foroy. Saw Svartisen Glacier. Spectacular. on to small beach Omes. Saw 2 dolphins after herring. Great views. 24 hrs light.
18 - 48 miles north on N17. Saw plaque for Sub Ured Beach
19 - Saltstraumen Maelstrom. very good. to Bodo, no parking. Toll pass. Picnic area with WC for night. Hot
20 - Still hot and sunny. Bognes to Ludingen ferry £21 1 hour. Twisty road north. Lay by with WC for night
21 - 23 miles to Aldenes. Pretty town, went on whale watch. Cold in North Atlantic, felt like Captain Ahab (Moby Dick). Slept in town.
22 - Toilet emptying place on minor coast road.
23 - Took coast road to Sortland Bridge 280 to Ryggendalen info for lunch, stayed night
24 - Misdummer Day. Saw Bird Rock. Back to info centre, coffee. E10 to Lodengen Harstad on to picnic area N Point for night
25 - Harstad E10. Picnic site 10 miles from Narvik for night
26 - Into Narvik bought camp gaz £20 only place in Norway and Sweden that sold gaz. Sorrissan for night
27 - Lapp cafe and info centre run by New Zealand Man very good. On to Balsfjord and Tennes. Hot water and good parking place.
28 - Stayed another night, no fish but fun trying
29 - north, dramatic coast line. Skjeroy picnic site, 8 miles to town for shopping. Dusty caught 2 fish.
30 - caught 9 more fish, coal fish, 1 cod. Advised North Cape was not worth visiting, expensive, poor view
